She Attended South Dakota State University in Brookings South Dakota before moving to Wolf Point, Montana to work in pharmacy at the Quentin Burdick Memorial Indian Health Service. Later on Sheri moved to Madras, Oregon to be near her mom and met her husband Gary not long after. She started working for Hometown Drugs of Madras as a pharmacy technician before transferring to Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center as a nursing assistant and eventually moved to pharmacy.  After having her first son she left work to stay home and raise him along with her other two sons. After years of not working she was missing the community and helping people around her. Sheri then became part of the removal team and worked that for a little over a year and filled in around the office when needed before deciding that she wanted to do more for the families of our community and became a licensed apprentice funeral service practitioner. She has been meeting with families and making arrangements for their loved ones as well as helping them design markers for their place of rest.
