Veronica (Roni) Irene Frost

In Loving Memory of Veronica Irene Frost

June 6th, 1941- June 30th, 2022

Veronica Irene Frost was born in Eugene, Oregon to parents Robert and Irene McClelland. She passed away on June 30th, 2022, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savoir with her family by her side. 

Veronica (Roni) grew up on a farm in the Eugene area, graduating from Willamette High School. She met her future husband, Warren Frost at church and they were married 5 years later on November 28th, 1959. They have three children: Lisa, Alan, and Tim. 

They lived in Eugene for a time and then moved to Elmira to live on a small farm. While in the Elmira area she worked as a bank teller. Moving to Madras in 1977, again on a small farm, she enjoyed raising raspberries and having an orchard. She helped on the farm driving equipment. She loved riding horses and tending to the chickens. After a time, she got her Real Estate License and worked for many years serving the community. She loved helping people. 

As a member of Madras Cornerstone Church, she was active in the choir at times, AWANA, was also the church clerk for a while, served on the kitchen committee, making meals for funerals and other events. 

After retiring from Real Estate, Roni helped her husband, Warren, do a local mail route in Madras, and surrounding areas. Throughout the years, they enjoyed traveling to many places: Hawaii, Mexico, Tahiti and the Bahamas. But their favorite destination was always the Oregon Coast, making multiple trips a year. 

Roni is survived by her children: Lisa (Mark) Zachary, Alan Frost, Tim Frost, One Granddaughter Melissa Curtis Frost, Brother Robert McClelland and Wife Joanne. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, and one brother Jack McClelland and his wife Mille. Roni joins her loving husband of 62 years, Warren Frost, in heaven, having only spent 25 earthy days apart from each other.
