Suzanne Trautmann, 95, of Madras, entered the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at East Cascade Retirement Community, Madras, Oregon.
Suzanne was born September 13, 1927, in Bloom, Kansas, the eighth child of Clifton and Maud Munger. She was married to Lyle Trautmann in Mankato, Kansas, on October 3, 1944. Suzanne and Lyle lived in Saronville, Nebraska, Grand Coulee, Washington, and Kremmling, Colorado before moving to Madras in 1969. Suzanne was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church
in Madras. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, oil painting, and like her mother, was a skilled seamstress. She spent many hours searching out and recording ancestry
information for her family. She worked for a time as a checker at Ericksons, where she enjoyed the social contact with customers. Suzanne is survived by her son, Roger and wife, Iola,
of Vancouver, Washington; three grandchildren: Paul Trautmann and wife Amanda, of Bakersfield, California, Jody Schoolmeester and husband Darin, of Tustin,
California, Cara Trautmann of Vancouver, Washington; and five great-grandchildren: Grace Trautmann of Bakersfield, California, and Daniel, David, Michael and Nathan Schoolmeester of Tustin, California. Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, in 2016; her parents; four brothers; and three sisters. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 3, at 10 a.m. at Mount Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery.
