Kim married Jesse King on June 12, 1980, in Salmon, Idaho. They lived in Wyoming, Montana, and moved to Madras in 1991.

Her interests were kids and animals. Kim always had a soft spot in her heart for underdogs and strays. She was always trying to make things better for them.
Kim is survived by her spouse, Jesse; daughter, Janile (Travis) Yost of Silverton; son, Jacob (Danielle) King of Caldwell, Idaho; grandchildren, Declan Yost, George and Arthur King.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held August 14, at 1 p.m. at the Sahalee Park Pavilion. Burial was held at Mount Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions can be made to any Humane Society or children's organization.
