Agnes Greene Lumpmouth, born November 7, 1940 and passed January 2, 2021, at St. Charles Hospital, Bend. Agnes, an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, grew up, in Warm Springs. Agnes Onte' (nick name given to her in her teen years) is the daughter of Celia (Stacona) Greene and Francis G. Greene.
Onte' had six children when she met Truman Lumpmouth Sr. and she had two with Truman. Family: Coleen, Laurel, Kim, Desmond, Francelia, Michelle, Trudy, and after giving birth to Trudy in Warm Springs, they moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, then youngest brother, Truman Jr. was born. Moving to Texas allowed Truman to get training as a Machinist. After one-year in Texas, they moved to Yukon, Oklahoma. Truman was an enrolled member of the Southern Cheyenne and Arapahoe Tribe, Concho, Oklahoma. Raising eight children and working as a nurses aide, led Onte to getting her BAS degree in Nursing. From there she started working with the Indian Health Service and after 23 years of Federal Service, she retired. During her retirement this gave her more time to study the Bible and she sat faithful under the ministry of the former Pastor, Earnest Hunt. She was used in the five fold ministry, and she was ordained in the pastoral work, and became Pastor of the Warm Springs Full Gospel Church. She stayed faithful to her position in the church unto the end. She enjoyed the Church Revivals whether they were in Warm Springs or travel out of state.
We have her memories and our hearts will miss and yearn for her, but she left her body and went to be with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. She has no more sickness, no more pain and no more burdens. Her work is finished, she fought the good fight of faith. She loved and prayed always for family, friends, and the members of the Warm Springs Full Gospel Church.
Onte' is survived by daughters, Coleen F. Reed, Laurel N. Wheeler, Kim L. (Wheeler) LeClaire, Michelle J. (Wheeler) Holliday (Johnny), Trudy J. (Lumpmouth) Bennett (Ronald); sons, Desmond L. Wheeler (Renee), Truman Lumpmouth Jr. and Carla Conner. She had 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death are parents, Celia and Francis Greene; brothers, Levi J. Greene, Eugene A. Greene, Harold M. Greene, Perry L. Greene, David J. Greene; sisters, Muriel M. (Greene) Carrasco, Laurel Nancy Greene.
Services were held January 5, 2021, at the Warm Springs Full Gospel Church.
