In loving memory of Wesley Ren Graves born on April 18, 1928 to Ren and Cleo (Naser) Graves in Letcher, South Dakota and passed away on December 20, 2019 in Madras, Oregon.

He was raised in South Dakota during his early years and later moved to Oregon City, Oregon where he graduated from high school. He worked in the shipyards with his dad Ren before enlisting in the service. He joined the Army on March 7, 1951 and served in Japan. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal on September 20, 1956.

He married his wife of 48 years, Marty Graves on June 7, 1956. Wes and Marty raised five children. He logged with his brother Russell Graves in Molalla and then bought a farm in Central Oregon in 1959. He farmed for many years retiring in 2006.

Wes loved to golf, hunt, fish and have a good time. He actively volunteered for Mt View Hospital and Nursing home, Hospice and was always doing anything and everything he could to help someone else. He grew a community garden at the Metolius Friends Church where he was an active member for many years. He was loved by many people

Wes was preceded in death by his parents Ren and Cleo Graves, his wife Marty Graves and siblings Lucille Wolfer, Nina Beagle and Russell Graves.

Wes is survived by his five children Tanya Canaday (Kevin), Melinda Lupinacci (Don) Lynn Graves (Lori), Corey Graves (Julie), Tracy Graves (Kelsie) his sister Dorothy Johnson and brother Don Graves. He is also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
