Wanda Faye Keith-Niles our beloved family member and a friend to so many, passed away January 27th, 2022, at her home in Madras, Oregon, surrounded by loved ones. Wanda was born March 27th,1941, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Noble Keith and Alwanda (Green) Keith. Wanda spent her early years in Oklahoma, but later moved out west to Oregon, where she met and married the love of her life, Glen Raymond Niles Sr. Wanda and Glen Raised 6 children together until Glen passed away in 2009. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Glen Raymond Niles Sr., and 3 of her adult children: Jerry Dale Tacker, Glen (Bud) Niles, and Charlene Renee Niles Hauth; she leaves 3 other children behind: Glenda Marie Niles, Letitia Lynette Niles, and Traci June Niles. During Wanda’s life she worked mostly in the food service industry and was at one time the manager of a Winchell’s Donuts on SE 39th and Glisan in Portland, Oregon. Wanda later managed food service cafes around town in several Governmental buildings where most of her customers knew her as Mom. Wanda loved her family and friends, old country music, watching good TV shows, and feeding and fretting over her loved ones. Wanda also sang semi-professionally in the ‘50s for a bit with bands like the Blue Mountain Boys and others around town; she could carry a great tune. Wanda wore her heart on her sleeve, she loved and was loved by many from all walks of life. Wanda fulfilled the duties of Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, and beloved friend. Wanda often adopted people who were not blood relatives, making them feel loved like only she could. Wanda’s strong love and belief in God, her study of the Bible, and her attendance at meetings at The Kingdom Hall in Madras, Oregon, gave her hope, peace and comfort in her life and inspired many around her. Wanda was a mother of 6, a Grandmother of 10, Great Grandmother of 14, and Great Great Grandmother to 3. Wanda was one kind hearted woman, a giver not a taker, just a genuine good ol’ gal. Wanda will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who ever had the honor of meeting her.
