Richard's life was marked by his commitment to service. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, where his contributions were deeply valued. Post-Military, he continued to serve his community as a volunteer firefighter, showcasing his lifelong dedication to helping others.
Professionally, Richard was a versatile individual, holding positions in the aeronautics field before relocation to Oregon in the early 1970s. In Oregon, he excelled as a Sr lab technician, system analyst and in sales before a fulfilling career at NW Natural, from which he retired. Even in retirement, Richard remained active, working as an all-around handyman and constantly seeking new knowledge.
