The “Gentle Giant”, Philip Sroufe past away on Friday, August 19, 2022 from a recent bout of cancer, he shook off his earthly suit and pursued his eternal rewards. Phil will be greatly missed for his support in prayer and his tremendous heart of service. However, we know that what he is experiencing now is far greater than any of us can imagine.

During his life, Phil was a loving husband, father, brother, Papa and friend to many.  In his life, Phil was an excellent athlete, Boeing employee, church parishioner, and community member.  Phil was a “Fixer” and could work toward the solution for any problem.  Phil spent many hours caring for the building and grounds that housed his beloved Word of Victory Church in Redmond, Oregon.

In recent years, Phil and His wife, Kathy owned and operated Crooked River Needle Works, where he demonstrated his amazing artistic talents, producing customized quilts.
