Paul Victor Friesen, 78, of Madras, passed away March 11, 2022. He was born June 3, 1943, to parents Elmer and Edith (Ditmore) Friesen in Alamosa, Colorado. Paul graduated from Culver High School in 1962.

Paul's family moved to Culver in 1946 from Alamosa, Colorado. He lived in Culver from 1946 to 1999, from there to Metolius and then to Madras.

Paul worked on his family farm until his father's retirement in 1978. He then worked various jobs until 1986, where he worked at Logan International to 1995, then Meuret Pump until 2006.

Paul was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church. He also was a Deacon and ran the sound system for approximately 61 years.

Paul loved camping, fishing and spending time with his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Madras, 85 NE A Street.
