Born in Berkeley, California to Michael Edward Day and Margery G. Gillespie on May 29th, 1962

Enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe

Unknown where he graduated High School

Attended culinary school in Portland, Oregon

Served Honorably in the U.S.Army

Finished truck driver school and drove over-the-road for several years

Retired in Madras, Oregon

He Is survived by his sister Marie Day, brother Michael Floyd  Gray Day, and stepfather Bernard W Topash.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother Marven  Day .

Mitch will be buried with full military honors in Madras, Oregon, next to his mother’s grave.
