IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Johnston

Lori Johnston
December 21, 1955 – September 25, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, Lori Johnston, who left us on September 25, 2025.
Born on December 21, 1955, Lori grew up in Corvallis, Oregon, where she graduated from Corvallis High School. She married Joe Johnston in 1976 and together they shared nearly five decades of love, joy, and laughter. Lori was the proud mother of two sons, Matt and Brian, whom she adored.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joe; her sons and daughters-in-law, Matt (Jenn) Johnston, and Brian (Tori) Johnston; as well as her father, Charles Leith; her brother, David Leith; and her sister, Amy (Dan) Steele. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Leith.
Lori was a woman of extraordinary warmth and kindness. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, always ready to share her big smile and even bigger heart. She had a special bond with the animals on the ranch, especially the deer she lovingly cared for and the stray cats she adopted over the years.
Her spirit will be remembered in every gathering, every shared meal, and every joyous celebration of family. She was always quick to offer a helping hand and bring light to any room she entered. Lori's love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment with those she held dear.
Though Lori’s presence will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She truly was a delight to be around, and her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A celebration of Lori’s life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local animal shelter, a cause close to Lori’s heart.
