Laura H. Altig died peacefully in her home on January 9th, 2019 at the age of 62.

Laura was born January 25th, 1956 in Ogden Utah. She worked for the forest service as a park ranger for 10 years. She married William Altig in 1985, became a mother soon after and devoted the rest of her time to her family.

Laura is survived by her parents Julia and Dean Hammer, sister Julieann, brother Bruce, husband William Altig, daughters Mary (Roy) and Julie (Guilherme), and her grandchildren Lane, Brooke, Aline and Rafael.

She will be laid to rest on Friday, January 18th 2019 at 11 am in the Mount Jefferson Memorial Park in Madras. She was tremendously loved and will be greatly missed.
