Gloria Marie Comingore passed away on Nov. 10, 2019, at the young age of 94 years.

She was born in Lafayette, Indiana, to Eugene and Alice (Dobbins) White, on Sept. 25, 1925. She graduated from high school in 1943, and on June 14, 1944, married Robert E. Comingore. She later attended El Camino College, California, and University of Washington, Seattle. During Robert's employment at The Boeing Co., she lived and traveled throughout the world until his retirement in 1983, where she and Robert settled into Bellevue, Washington. During the retirement years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with longtime friends, volunteering, and always the reading of a good book.

In July of 2004, Gloria moved to Madras along with her husband, Robert. It was there they celebrated 62 years of marriage before Robert's death on Aug. 4, 2006. Gloria enjoyed her years in Madras with newly found friends (particularly the Red Hat Ladies). Exploring new adventures was always on her agenda. Spending time with great-great- nephews, Conner and Chase Comingore from Madras, and visits from her great-great-niece, Emily Wilson from LaGrande, was always special to her.

She was preceded in death by brother, Jack DeWitt; sisters, Corinne Mursch and Patsy Carol Schafer; and half-brother, Stanley White; and survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
