Obituary

Eusibio “Joe” Platiro 92, passed away on Nov. 6, 2021, at his home in Culver Or. He was the husband of Sally Geneva Platiro, they shared 41 years of marriage together. Born in Hana, Maui, Hawaii. He was the son of Proceso and Eugenia Platiro. He graduated from Hona High School. He worked as a sugar cane cutter until he joined the Army Air Corps during WWII. He received the Army of Occupation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. He obtained the rank of Sgt. He retired from the City of San Jose Parks and Rec as a Master Gardner. He had a great love for family, friends, landscaping and fishing.
Joe is survived by his son Maximo and daughter in law Patricia Platiro, his brother John and sister Cora, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A Private family burial will take Place a Willamette National Cemetery December 2, 2021, a public Memorial service will be held at Bel-Air Funeral Home dates and times will be announced soon.
