Darcia Lynn James, 73, passed away peacefully at 2:15 a.m. on September 12, 2026.

Darcia was a strong and hardworking woman who devoted her life to her home and family. A loving homemaker, she spent her days caring for those she loved and creating a warm, welcoming home. She loved country/oldies music, and she enjoyed dancing around the house with her children while singing along to her favorite songs. These joyful moments created cherished memories her family will always hold dear. Her strength, dedication, and love will be remembered by all who knew her.

Darcia was the mother of nine children: Daniel Lee Frost, James Earl Frost, David Wayne Frost, Jesse Joel James, Frank Adam James, Rebecca Lynn Taylor, Stacy Marie Broncheau, Tammy Jo Stardust Winters, and Rina Dawn James.

She is survived by her children, Daniel, James, David, Jesse, Rebecca, Stacy, and Tammy, and her grandchildren:

Jeremy Frost, Megan Frost, Dustin Frost, Sara Swonke, Jody Frost, Patricia Frost, Tabor Taylor, Alyssa Frost, Delbert Goudy, Tammy Goudy, Nicole Goudy, Will Fire Marcum, Sabrina Frost, Amara James, Joel James, Hope James, and Isiah James.

Darcia will be remembered for her strength, hardworking spirit, love of country/oldies music, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all those who loved her.
