On December 13, 2023 Bobby Lee Woods Jr. passed away at the age of 69 at his home in Madras, OR. Bob was born in Portland, OR on July 22, 1954 to Bob and Edith Woods. The family moved between California and Washington before finally settling in Oregon in 1966. He graduated from Tigard High School in 1972 and started working for Fred Meyer shortly after. In 1974 he married Denise and they had a daughter Rian Leigh. They later divorced. Bob then started his career in the Linen industry at New System Laundry in 1979 and worked there nearly 20 years before changing jobs and working for service Linen Supply. He married Dorothy and they had a son Brandon Lee in 1988 they were married nearly 20 years before divorcing. Bob reconnected with his high school sweetheart Deb and they married in Hawaii in 2007. After more then 30 years in the Linen Service industry, Bob got a job at Tualatin Liquor store and worked until his retirement in 2022. He then moved to Central Oregon where he was able to enjoy his passion for fly fishing. Bob loved to read and was known to reread his beloved Stephen King books many times. He had a 5th Keup blue belt in Tae Kwan Do, enjoyed playing online games and of course fly fishing. He had a laugh that was unforgettable. Bob is survived by his mother Edith, wife Debra, children Rian (Mark), and Brandon (Leeanna) grandson Gage, brothers John (Lana) and Dan (Sylvia). He was proceeded in death by his father Bob, stepfather Gene and his granddaughter Zoey.
There will be no service per Bobs wishes. There will be a gathering at a later date.
