Arnold “Dean” Draper

December 10, 1962 - August 28, 2023

Dean was born to Robert L. Draper and Anna Fern (Fuller)

Draper in John Day, Oregon. He was the fourth of five children.

Dean loved the outdoors and going for car rides, teasing his nieces

and nephews, and had a kind heart for animals. Above all, he loved his

family and friends.

He is survived by his partner, Barbara Shores; siblings, Kathy

(Wren) Hyder, of Boardman, Oregon, Dan (Jeryne)

Draper, of Centralia, Washington, Mary (Bob)

Schmidt, of Metolius, Oregon, Joy DeHaan, of Madras;

daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Still, of Gresham, Oregon;

grandchildren, Isabel Still, Sophia Still, and Jordan Perez.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; and

daughter, Amber Draper.

There will be no service per Dean’s wishes. There may be

a gathering at the Round Butte Inn in Culver, at a

later date organized by friends.
